This policy explains how Amir Salah (NMLS #1198452) and E Mortgage Capital, Inc. (NMLS #1416824) collect, use and share information through mortgageamir.com and patricktaba.com, which redirects to it.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you use a contact form, we collect your name, phone number, email address, what you're looking to do, the property state, your timeline, any notes you add and whether you agreed to calls and texts. If you join Rate Watch, we also collect the current rate, target rate and loan details you choose to share. If you're a real estate agent, we also collect your brokerage. We also note which page you used and how you found the site, such as an Instagram post or ad, when the link includes that information. If you call, text or message us on Instagram, we receive your contact details and whatever you choose to share.
Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting, font and rate-data providers (GitHub delivers the rate averages) receive basic technical data when pages load, such as your IP address and browser type. This site itself doesn't use advertising cookies or analytics tracking. The Homebot form on the Home equity page may use its own cookies.
Chat assistant. If you use the AI chat assistant on this site, the messages you type and any contact details you share are processed by our chat provider, LoanOfficer.ai, so it can answer your questions and pass your request to Amir. The assistant may use its own cookies or similar browser storage.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your request, explain your loan options, help you apply if you choose to, and meet legal and regulatory requirements. If you agree, we may call or text you about your request, including with automated technology.

How we share it

We share your information only as needed to help you:

Within E Mortgage Capital, Inc., including with another licensed E Mortgage Capital loan officer if you're buying in a state where Amir isn't licensed.
With service providers that help us run this site and contact you, such as website hosting, form processing, our AI chat assistant, customer relationship management and texting tools. They may use it only to provide those services.
When required by law, regulation or legal process.

If you request a home value report, the form is provided by Homebot, Inc. Homebot receives the address and contact details you enter and handles them under its own privacy policy.

We don't sell your personal information. We don't share your mobile number or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.

Text messages

If you agree to texts, message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. If you join Rate Watch, you'll get texts when rates move toward the target you shared. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts isn't required to get a loan.

If you apply for a loan

Information in a loan application is also covered by E Mortgage Capital's privacy notice under federal law, which you'll receive when you apply.

Keeping your information safe

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no way of sending or storing data online is completely secure. Please don't send Social Security numbers or account numbers through the contact form.

Your choices

You can ask what information we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, subject to records we're required to keep under mortgage and other laws. Depending on where you live, including California, you may have additional privacy rights. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

Do Not Track

This site doesn't track you across other websites, so it doesn't respond differently to browser Do Not Track signals.

Children

This site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
